Aqueous solutions

Postby Kailyncanez3G » Mon Dec 04, 2023 12:39 am

When workin with aqueous solutions, how can I classify compounds by strong acids, weak acids, strong bases and weak bases? What must I look for first?

hello, so usually i try and go based off ionization behavior. for example, strong acids and bases fully ionize, whereas weak acids and bases only partially ionize in water. from there, we need to measure the degree of ionization/dissociation to figure out if the compound we are looking at is strong or weak
