If we had the ability to see more than the em radiation of 700nm to 400nm - respectively - what do you think we would see?
In terms of color and what not.

We know what they look like as we have equipment that detects IR, UV, etc.

If I have time in class I'll comment on your interesting question.

In the IR region ice looks dark, not white, etc.
