Converting Partial Pressure to Concentration

Do we have to know how to convert partial pressure to concentration? And if we do, do you think the question will give us partial pressure and then we just need to find the concentration of whatever it is, or will it sound different? I'm worried about getting confused over the wording...
Also, just to check, R is a gas constant in the Pv=nRt equation, right? So it will either be on our sheet or provided in the equation?

Yes, R will be provided to us. You just have to pay attention to what the question is asking for, and it may require you to convert from partial pressure to concentration or the other way around. PV=nRt, which means that P/Rt=n/V, P/Rt=molarity. Using that conversion, you should be able to derive one from the other.
