Sig Figs
For the upcoming quiz, should we round sig figs after each calculation or wait until the final answer to round?

Re: Sig Figs
Usually it's best to wait to determine sig figs until you reach the final answer, as if you round during the process you may end up with a final answer that is not as accurate as it could have been due to the rounding error.

Re: Sig Figs
It depends on the data given in the question. For example, when multiplying and dividing, your answer will have the same number of sig figs as the number given in the problem with the least number of significant figures.

Re: Sig Figs
I also heard that we do NOT consider temperature when applying sig figs. Is this true? For example, say all the given units are in 4 sig figs and temperature is in 3, does our end calculation have three or four sig figs?
