Heat from Sun

Postby Arjun Sharma 1D » Fri Feb 16, 2018 1:37 am

I think I have an idea but just out of curiosity: how does the Sun transfer heat to the Earth?

I don't really know the answer to this question either. But after doing some research, the hydrogen in the sun is converted into helium through millions of reactions, producing heat as a byproduct. This heat is then given off to the atmosphere (some of which reaches the Earth) through thermal radiation.
