Tools for remembering equations
The other day, a girl in a study session mentioned that she new a song that applied to the material we're learning, something with the equations I believe. Does anyone know any! I'm curious to see if there is something helpful to memorize that is also cute and fun

I don't know a good song, but PLF said a way to help memorize the v= c/λ is
"Hey what's new? :D....speed of light over lambda" Haha I'd say it's pretty cute

Don't know of many myself :( But, remember, you aren't expected to know the equations! They will be provided to you on any exam, according to Dr. Lavelle! Hope this helped! :)

Yeah I asked Lavelle in class if we need to know the equations and they will be provided on the exam. It would probably be helpful to memorize the units each symbol represents because it will be easier to do dimensional analysis and manipulate equations.

The equations will be provided to you for each test but make sure you familiarize yourself with them enough before so that you know which one to use or what the variables stand for.

Re: Tools for remembering equations
Although it's not necessarily an equation, my PLF gave us a fun mnemonic to memorize the types of waves from low to high frequency: "Really Man I (see) U X Genius"
R= radio
M= microwave
I= Infra-red
(see)= visible/colors
U= Ultraviolet
X= x-rays
G= gamma-rays
Memorize this and then you also have a way of knowing the wavelengths too!
