Do you guys think that there will be a lot of melting point or boiling point questions on the exam? Or what do you think he'll ask?

It is cumulative, so it will probably be a question from each section/topic, but each question has multiple subsections (a,b,c, etc.)

How do you figure out when it has a higher boiling point?

boiling points are usually figured out by bond strength, imfs and such.

yea boiling points are a characteristic of IMFs, stronger bonds mean a higher boiling point because they want to stick together more, so it's less likely to go from liquid to gas

There might be at least one question about which compound has a higher boiling or melting point.
