Re: Midterm
I think so, because that is all we'll have learned by then, but I'm sure he/our TAs will tell us in class.

Re: Midterm
Knowing Lavelle, there may be, but if not there are hours and hours of sessions on his website per week that you can go to for help.
Re: Midterm
Honestly, just hit the workshops and the step up! Practice will be ur best bet to be prepared.

Going over practice questions posted on Chem community from workshops and review sessions are also super helpful

Re: Midterm
Does anyone know if we can use whiteout during the midterm exam? I know we are supposed to write in pen so I was wondering if we could use whiteout since we do have a limited amount of space to do calculations.

Re: Midterm
Every student is assigned to a specific testing location based on their last name and if they're either in a 10am, 12pm, or 2pm lecture. The list is on the class website.

Re: Midterm
For the midterm, do you know what will be provided in terms of sheets? Like will we be given electronegativity values? Or bond lengths?

Re: Midterm
Lavelle will provide all the information that we need for specific problems. My TA said that he will provide electronegativity values unless it is very obvious based on the periodic trends. I don't think you have to memorize the specific bond lengths, but understand them conceptually.

I assume he would not prohibit us from using whiteout, especially since it can help keep your answers neater. However, it can be more time consuming rather than to just cross stuff out.
