Chem BL
Is it true that one should take the lab after taking chem 14b rather than take them at the same time? (Since material at the beginning of the lab is seen at the end of the lecture, or is that a lie?)
Re: Chem BL
My friend who is currently taking Chem 14B and BL this quarter advised me to not take them at the same time for that reason, so I think it’s true.

Re: Chem BL
I've heard the same, and I've also heard that 14BL takes up a lot of time and it's really hard to manage while taking 14B simultaneously, apparently.

Re: Chem BL
Based on previous threads I've seen on Chemistry Community, people generally advise to take Chem 14B before taking Chem 14BL. There's no rule, but it may make your workload and studying a bit easier to manage!

Re: Chem BL
Most people take Chem 14BL in a quarter after they have taken Chem 14B, so they are more familiar with the material. Chem 14BL is also work heavy, so you should keep that in mind when choosing classes.

Re: Chem BL
You can take it the same time as 14b but it didn't let me enroll in it since a pre-req is having a grade in chem 14a.

Re: Chem BL
I've heard Chem 14BL also picks up where Chem 14B left off, which would make taking them simultaneously kind of difficult.

Re: Chem BL
Does anyone know if it also applies to 14CL? Like should we take CL after we take 14C as well?
