Exam Subjects

Postby ariaterango_1A » Tue Dec 03, 2019 12:02 pm

Does anyone know what the ratio of subjects will be on the final exam? For example, I know the exam will cover all major topics however, will it be more on the topics we haven't been tested on?

I really doubt that the exam will be on topics that we haven't yet tested on. It will most likely be an equal distribution of topics from before the midterm and after the midterm. I'm assuming that the exam will be hard, not because of the content, but the combination of different concepts. Or better put, questions that you are not so familiar with.

I think the exam will consist of problems that incorporate topics we have learned throughout the year with an emphasis on later topics that weren't included on our last test!

I believe the exam is cumulative but will emphasize topics after the midterm.

I know the exam is cumulative but I would also assume that material from post-midterm would be more heavily emphasized.

My TA actually mentioned that Dr. Lavelle likes to test things at least once so I'm not sure if the final will be solely on topics discussed.
