Re: Grades
In CCLE on the left column, if you scroll to the bottom you can see a tab called "grades" which includes all of your current classes.

Re: Grades
You can also check through myUCLA! Click on the classes tab and it will be under the grades and homework section as "exam and homework grades" :)

Re: Grades
On CCLE for each class once you get to your class site, you can scroll all the way down on the left tab and find "Grades." You can also check on myUCLA (Classes > Exam and Homework grades), although I've heard those aren't always updated or accurate.

Re: Grades
If you have the ccle app on your phone, the fourth icon on the bottom will show you your grades for all your classes!

Re: Grades
For Chemistry and a few of my other classes I only see the grades I get on assignments and not the overall grade in the class. Is it like this for everyone?

Re: Grades
Like everyone else has mentioned, if you ever want to check your grades you can go to my.ucla.edu and go under the Classes tab to find grades and transcripts.

Re: Grades
You can just click on CCLE, go to the chem page, and scroll down to the bottom left where it says grades to get an overview of your midterm grades and more.
Re: Grades
Either CCLE in theft column towards the bottom or MyUCLA portal under "Classes" then selecting "Exam and Homework Grades". I think the most helpful way to do so is adding up the points you have received and implementing them out of Lavelle's grading rubric so HW (50 pts) Discussion (50pts) MT 1 (110 pts) MT 2 (110 pts) and if you wan to estimate what your project to get on the Final (180). If you stop at MT 2 just divide hw discussion mt1 and mt 2 by 4 and it gives a rough estimate.

Re: Grades
You can check CCLE or myUCLA but I have been told by professors and TA's in other classes that the myUCLA gradebook, which you can access by clicking on the classes tab and then exam/homework grades, is the more reputable source.

Re: Grades
Go to MyUCLA, and on the upper hand tab click “Exam and homework grades.” The grades should be updated by Saturday this week!

Re: Grades
You can find your grade on CCLE, but I would check Saturday when the grade for our final is posted.

Re: Grades
Does anyone know what it means when there is partial credit for the midterms? Like how do we get partial credit when it's a multiple choice question with only one final answer?

Re: Grades
Also, for people that had prof Lavelle for chem 14a, how long does it normally take him to grade midterms?

I think if you chose an answer choice that was derived from doing the problem correctly but messing up in the final stages (conversions, units) etc.. you would get partial credit since you knew how to approach the question, just didn't execute correctly.

Re: Grades
I don't think CCLE tells you your overall grade but you can just calculate that yourself. Using what the instructor has inputted for grades, you can just use their syllabus to calculate what your grade is looking like for the moment or estimate what you need to score for the next couple of assignments to get the grade you want.
