midterm format
Do we know what the format of the midterm will be like? The respondus practice question was multiple choice, so will they all be multiple chouce or will they be free response too? And will we know how many questions will be on it?

Re: midterm format
If we take the midterm on respondus, I would assume that it would be the same format as the practice problem. Hopefully the TAs and Prof. Lavelle will let us know this Monday!

Re: midterm format
Dr. Lavelle said that the midterm exam would be entirely multiple choice, and I think my TA mentioned that each question would have five answer choices. It should mimic the Respondus practice quiz that we took.
Hope this helps!

Re: midterm format
I'm not sure how many questions but my TA said multiple choice. I know that it is digitally taken but I believe we still have to be present in person. I also think Professor Lavelle said in a recent email that at the beginning of this week, he was going to release more info about the midterm so I would wait for that.

Re: midterm format
It will be multiple choice, most likely with questions similar to the hw and textbook, but be prepared for everything.

Re: midterm format
I was wondering what would happen if we suddenly have technical difficulties. Will our progress be saved or will it automatically submit when we "exit" due to unexpected circumstances?

Re: midterm format
My TA told us that it would be mostly or all multiple choice, and that the test would usually have problems modeled in the format of the textbook or the HW.

Re: midterm format
Oh thays good, this was really helpful. However i was also wondering if anyone knows if we'll be given the values that are constants? Or will we have to memorize those with the equations too for the midterm?

Re: midterm format
Professor Lavelle just sent out an email that says that there will be 15 multiple choice questions that are worth 80 points in all. I hope that helps!
