DeBroglie Equation

Postby 806021969 » Sun Dec 10, 2023 1:43 pm

When using the DeBroglie Equation and the question is asking about the speed of light, Im just confused whether we would consider using the Plancks equation first or input the values into the speed of light equation provided to us. Thank you.

As far as I'm aware, the De Broglie equation does not require the speed of light. The De Broglie equation, λ=h/mv, is used to determine the wavelength of a particle with mass, with lambda being the wavelength of the particle, h being Plank's constant, m being the mass of the particle, and v being the velocity of the particle.
