### Frequency of an object with mass

Hi everyone! We use De Broglie’s equation to find the wavelength of an object with mass. After finding that wavelength, is there any way to convert it into frequency. Can the E = hv equation be used or not since its an equation only for electromagnetic radiation? Is there any other equation that can be used?
Thank you!

E = hv and c=(lambda)v are for light only.

After finding the wavelength then you can use c= wavelength x frequency to find the frequency. All you would have to do is manipulate the formula and plug in what you have.

Yes! You can use the question c=wavelength*frequency. C in this equation is the speed of light, which is 3.0*10^8m/s.
