in the worked example for the DeBroglie Equation, how is it that we can verify the calculated wavelength in an experimental lab?

If I understand your question correctly, you would be able to measure the wavelength in a lab for certain things because some of the wavelengths are too long to be detected. However, with the wavelengths that are within the detection spectrum, you should be able to measure it using tools in the lab. I hope this helps!
