Hello everyone,
Unfortunately, tomorrow I have a midterm and I will be moving my session to this Friday, March 1st, from 5 pm to 7 pm over Zoom. I will be posting the Zoom link, the worksheet, and the review sheet when we get closer to Friday.
Thank you so much for understanding!

Re: Nikta's Week 8 workshop (Answer Key Posted)
Hi Nikta! Can you or anyone explain to me how you solved for K in the second part of question 3. I was using the equation E = E* -(.05916/2)log(K) and solving for K while setting E = 0. When I did this I got K = 2.0117 x 10^69. Where am I going wrong?

Re: Nikta's Week 8 workshop (Answer Key Posted)
Hello! The reason you got a slightly different answer is because 10^69 is a very large number and when you input it in the calculator, it rounds it differently. As long as you say 10^69, it is enough and the slight variation doesn't matter.

In question 3b, why did you use the equation E=Ecell-(0.0542/n) x logQ instead of deltaG=-RTlnK or Ecell=(RT/nF)lnK?

Re: Nikta's Week 8 workshop (Answer Key Posted)
For this question, I first wrote the general formula E=Ecell-(0.0542/n) x logQ, then since it was at equilibrium and we know E=0, I wrote Ecell=(0.0592/n) x logK and derived the expression for solving K. Hopefully that helps
