How does the mass of the object that you have affect the uncertainty in position and momentum?

Hi! Since momentum is equal to mass times velocity, you can substitute this formula into the Heisenberg Indeterminacy Equation to get . Because mass and momentum have a proportional relationship, an increase in mass should result in an increase in momentum. On the other hand, an increase causing momentum to increase would decrease the uncertainty in position. I hope that helps!
