I am confused on how to find delta V for heisenberg uncertainty equation.

For example, for question 1.45, it says a bowling ball of mass 8 kg is rolled down a bowling alley lane at 5+/- 5 m/s (5 plus minus 5 meter/sec). What is the minimum uncertainty in its position?

In the solutions manuel, it says that delta V is 10 m/s. Is it because delta V = biggest V (10m/s) - smallest V (0m/s) ?

It's because the + or - 5 is the uncertainty, and since it can be 5m/s in each direction, the total uncertainty is 2x5=10m/s.

Yes exactly!! You don't have to take into account the value of the velocity itself because it is only asking for the uncertainty.
