Heisenberg Equation & Test 2

Postby Gabi Landes 1-H » Fri Apr 20, 2018 1:08 am

Will the application of the Heisenberg Equation be tested on next weeks test (test two)?

I do not believe that we will be tested on this material since we have not gone over this in lecture and we were told that this test covered material up to section 1.5. They do not discuss the Heisenberg equation in the first five sections of chapter 1 and it is also not listed as one of the topics in the announcement posted on the chemistry website. Also, on one of his last slides, he listed the modules that could be helpful to study for this exam and he did not include the module on the Heisenberg equation.

The Heisenberg Equation will not be tested in Test 2 (:

Don't think so- Test 2 only covers until 1.5, which includes calculating wavelength and frequency, identifying lines in the hydrogen spectrum, planck's constant and calculating the energy of a photon, and calculating wavelength with the de Broglie equation. It does not include the Heisenberg equation though!

In today's lecture, I'm sure Lavelle said it would not be on this upcoming quiz. He also sent out an e-mail about the quiz.
