### Momentum Uncertainty

can anyone explain how decreasing the uncertainty in momentum affects the uncertainty in wavelength?

because λ = h/p, decreasing the uncertainty of p decreases the uncertainty of λ.

Actually, based on the equation λ = h/p, wavelength λ is inversely proportional to momentum p. This means that as the uncertainty of momentum decreases, the uncertainty of wavelength increases and vice versa.

According to the equation λ = h/p, momentum and wavelength have an inverse relationship. Therefore, as uncertainty in wavelength increases, uncertainty in momentum decreases and vice versa.
