"What is the minimum uncertainty in the speed of an electron confined within a lead atom of diameter 350. pm? Model the atom as a one-dimensional box with a length equal to the diameter of the actual atom.
I understood the first part of the question and got the correct answer of Δv = 1.65 x 105m/s. However, I don't understand what the second half of the question is asking me to do. How exactly do I go about modeling the atom?
