### Solving with velocity

When given the velocity, is the actual velocity important at all or just the change of velocity?

### Re: Solving with velocity

For the Heisenburg equation, the change is velocity is important because then only can we calculate the change in momentum(p) to eventually solve the whole equation.

### Re: Solving with velocity

The actual velocity is important for most of the problems we've been solving, and it is usually provided. For energy, the difference in energy is usually what matters more because energy is conserved.

### Re: Solving with velocity

For the sake of Heisendbergs equation, the change in velocity is important. A singular value for velocity is more relevant to debroglies
