What exactly does heisenberg’s equation mean empirically?

### Re: Heisenberg Equation

You cannot know simultaneously the position and momentum of a particle. The most uncertainty you have in the position of the particle, the less there can be in the momentum and vice versa.

### Re: Heisenberg Equation

Heisenberg's Indeterminacy principle states that we cannot know the exact velocity and position of an object at any given time, even in theory. This is why we have electron density regions.

### Re: Heisenberg Equation

As everyone above mentioned, the equation refers to how we can never know the exact position and velocity of an object at any given time. There's an inverse relationship in the certainty of knowing the position of an object and knowing the velocity of the same object. Heisenberg derived this equation from the fact that electrons have wavelike properties and how measuring techniques can limit the accuracy of a measurement (because the equipment, such as light, can impact the trajectory that an electron travels due to how small it is, as photons have the ability to come into contact w/ electrons).
