Uncertainty percentage
Hey so during one of the workshops, the UA and peers went over uncertainty and they wrote 9.8 plus/minus 1% and that its 2%. I couldn't catch what that was for. Does anyone remember their UA Workshop talking about that?

Re: Uncertainty percentage
I don't remember that but if its a percent then it would be the percent of the number given
so +/- of 9.8
so +/- of 9.8

I don't remember seeing a percentage in the problem at all though, so I was very confused on where they got it from.

I think its hard because it feels like variations of the same formula out there.
Re: Uncertainty percentage
I am also confused by this, on sapling whenever this is given I just ignore whatever comes after the +/- and have always gotten the correct answer that way.
