Delta V's Relationship to the speed of Light

Postby Lillie Yazdi 3J » Sat Oct 16, 2021 2:42 pm

In any scenario, if delta V is faster than the speed of light, will the model automatically be incorrect?

Hi!

Yes, if delta V is faster than the speed of light, the model will automatically be incorrect because it is not possible for an electron to be greater than the speed of light. I hope this helps!

Hi,
Julie is absolutely right. Just add on that, any particles with mass cannot achieve the speed of light. So the velocity of an electron must be lower than the speed of the light.
I think your question is great and hope this helps!
