How many nodes does a 3s orbital have and why?

It would have two nodes. One radial and one angular. Nodes are the places in the orbital structure where there is no electron density. An angular node is completely flat plane. A radial node is the shape of donut.

I have follow-up questions:
1) How to get the equation for finding the number of nodes?
2) How many nodes do 3p, 3d have? and how many nodes are there in an atom, such as a nitrogen?
