Untrue PSI From Lecture

At the end of today's lecture, Lavelle wrote some PSI values on the board and said that they were untrue. One of them was PSI (1, 1, 0, +1/2); can someone explain why this wouldn't be able to exist?

This is because the first 1 is referring to the number of electron shells, which correlates to the first row of the periodic table. The second 1 is referring to a p-orbital. This could not exist since none of the elements with only 1 electron shell can contain a p-orbital.

In the first energy level, n=1, the only possible orbital that can be found is an s orbital with l=0 because there are only 2 electrons in available to fill the first energy level.
