Heisenberg's Indeterminacy Equation

Is Heisenberg's Indeterminacy equation only used when trying to find the position and momentum of an electron?

Yes it's mostly used to find the indeterminancy in the position or the momentum. But you can use the value you calculated for the indeterminancy of the momentum to solve for the indeterminancy of the velocity of that particle.

Yes! And as it is stated in our book: "Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle states that the more precisely the position of the particle is known, the more uncertain the momentum is and vice versa." This is just an additional helpful information.

I also want to add on that the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle arises from how the measurement process of finding the position or momentum can influence the outcome of the other. This essentially limits how accurate both the momentum and position of a particle will measured. The equation is a quantitative statement of this limit.
