magnetic quantum number, ml

Postby Victoria Zheng--2F » Thu Oct 17, 2019 5:03 pm

I need a little help in understanding what the magnetic quantum number, ml indicates. What is the orientation of the orbitals?

The orientation of the orbitals is basically how they lie on the x-y-z plane.
