Hi!

Can someone run through how to solve this problem where you determine the H+,OH-, pH, and pOH of the solutions at 25C?

For this question, you are provided either the H+, OH-, pH, or pOH for each solution and expected to solve for the three not given. The best way to solve this question is to use either of the images attached. One of them is from the hint provided, and one is from when I took chemistry in high school.

For the first part of the question where you are given the H+, you should divide 1*10^-14 by H+ to get the OH-. Then, use this value to find the pOH. Negative log is the same thing as log (1/ OH). Once you have the pOH, subtract it from 14 to get the pH.

Use these same processes for each of the following parts of the question. Take what you're given and see what's the easiest to find next. Then use that value to find the next and the next.
