Quantum number ml is the magnetic quantum number. It determines the number of orbitals and their orientation within a subshell. In the s orbital, there is only one possible orientation which is 0. For example in the p orbital, it would be 1 0 -1. Based on the electron, it would be one of those integers.

In addition, ml ranges from -l to l so if the value of l is 2 then the ml numbers would be -2,-1,0,1,2.
