Bohr radius
The textbook says that a(sub 0) is called the Bohr radius. Is this number a constant and what is its value? If not how do you find it?

Re: Bohr radius [ENDORSED]
So from what I have read, the Bohr radius is a given constant with a value of a = 5.29177 x 10^-11 meters. What the Bohr constant represents is the average radius of a ground state hydrogen atom's orbit.

Re: Bohr radius
Outline #2 does not mention that we need to necessarily know those and I don't remember hearing it in Lecture but I could be wrong. I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: Bohr radius
I don't think that will be important for this midterm I wouldn't worry too much about it.
