Wavelength can not be negative as it is a measurement, having a negative value in this context would not be applicable.

Neither a wavelength or frequency can be negative. It can be a bit confusing because in the Rydberg Equation the results can be negative or positive. This just expresses how the energy would be released (higher to lower energy level) or absorbed (lower to higher energy level).

Hi, because wavelength is a measure of the distance between two adjacent points in a wave, wavelength can't be negative. Hope it helps!

Wavelength and frequency cannot be negative. Energy can sometimes turn out to be negative, such as when an electron transitions from a highter to a lower energy level. This is because energy is being released, but the wavelength and frequency are always positive.

Wavelength and frequency are always positive. In Rydberg's equation it can sometimes be negative but that is only when energy is being released.

Wavelength cannot be negative, but you might calculate energy to be negative. This would just mean that energy was released in that chemical process described in the question.

As a convention, neither wavelength nor frequency can ever be negative.

A wavelength could never be negative because its a measure of distance and distance can never be negative.

No it can’t be negative because wavelength are not directional value. There is no means for being negative wavelength nor negative frequency.

No, wavelength will never be negative. Though, the answer can be a very small number in which it would no longer be detectable. But, it will never be negative. Hope this helps.
