Schrodinger's Eqn

Postby jillian1k » Mon Oct 23, 2017 6:23 pm

What homework questions pertain to Schrodinger's Equation? I'm just wondering what exactly we're supposed to know about the equation and how to apply it. Since we didn't do any examples in class, I'm not sure if we're just supposed to understand the concepts behind it and where it came from, or if there's actual calculation problems.

You won't be asked to do specific calculations for Schrodinger's Equations. Anything Dr. Lavelle discussed in lecture is sufficient. Understanding the concepts behind it and the equations for it is the main thing. For example, what is the Hamiltonian and what does it represent? What is a wave function, and how is it represented?
