Coulomb's Law and Effective Nuclear Charge on test

Postby Julia Lee » Sun Oct 21, 2018 10:57 pm

Do any of you know if we need to know Coulomb's Law and Effective Nuclear Charge for the test? I know Lavelle gave us the equation in lecture Friday but we haven't really done much with it yet.

I think you should at least be familiar with it. Even though we didn't do too much on those topics, but it doesn't hurt to learn a little more.

I would know these just because we had practice problems on these topics in lecture and in the text. It's better to have a basic understanding.
