Ionization Energy

Since an s-block element has a low ionization energy, then that means that its outermost electrons can easily be lost. So an s-block element is is most likely to be a reactive metal?

Yeah, they have low ionization energy since they only need to remove one or two electrons to complete an octet which means they will be very reactive as they want a complete octet like the noble gases do.

Yes, that is correct. The same concept can be applied to halogens, which require one more electron to complete an octet.

Adding on, this could be seen in NaCl, where the Na from the s block, and the Cl from the p block is very reactive with each other in order to create more stable bond.
