Diamagnetic/Paramagnetic

Hi,

In one of the review worksheets posted, there was a question on paramagnetic and diamagnetic electrons, do we need to know this for the midterm?
Also, should we know hybridization?

On the class website there are lists of everything you need to know for each subject. The midterm covers "Review of Chemical & Physical Principles", "The Quantum World", and part of "Chemical Bonds" and I don't believe those topics are listed under these subjects. The spin of an electron is brought up in "The Quantum World" but I don't think it goes into depth about their magnetic properties.
