Ionization Energies
Does it get progressively harder to remove electrons after the second (third, fourth, etc).

Ionization energy has a general trend that increases left to right across and decreases down a group. Ionization energy is the energy required to remove an electron from an atom, so to answer your question, yes.

Yes. It gets progressively harder to remove electrons. We are getting closer to the positively charged nucleus that is pulling electrons towards it.

Yes, because the effective nuclear charge increases after removing the first electron.
