Electron Configuration for Tungsten (W)

Why is the electron configuration for tungsten instead of ? Shouldn't the 6s orbital lend an electron to the 5d orbital for a more stable half-orbital?
This is based on the answer for 2.43 from the textbook, part e).

I was wondering this too and I found this:

Basically it's an exception to the exception. But Dr. Lavelle said we don't have to know any exceptions other than chromium and copper, so don't worry about it.
