So it will fill 4s first and then 3d except chromium and copper?

For multi-electron atoms after atomic number=20 (Calcium), 4s state is higher in energy than 3d, as we expect. So 3d will fill up after two electrons have occupied 4s state. Chromium and copper are two exceptions, correct.
