I am wondering up to which topic will the first quiz cover.

It's covering up to where your lecture left off on the on before the last lecture.

The Self-Prep Workbook Quiz is a great indicator of what kind of content will be on the quiz.

Quiz 1 should be on Fundamentals and Chapter 1. The Heisenberg Uncertainty Equation should be the last concept that will be on the quiz. Talks about, for example, orbital structures will not be on the quiz.
