F orbital

F orbital

How familiar with the f-orbital do we need to be for the midterm? Will we be doing electron configurations for elements that include the f orbital?

I believe Dr. Lavelle said we did not need to use the F orbital for this class, so I would focus on the s, p, and d orbitals

We don't really have to know much about the f orbital. Only s-, p-, d- orbitals.
