Midterm Score

For the Chem 14A midterms and finals, are there grade curves or no? I don't think the homeworks or assignments are curved at all, so I don't think there are curves for tests, but I was just wondering.

From what I have heard, I do not think the grades for midterms and finals are curved.

Most people who took the class before us have told me that the class is not curved, but I would double check with Dr. Lavelle to make sure.

I have heard that Lavelle curves, but I am not too sure about the midterm since it is out of 15, and someone may have gotten a 100% not too sure!

I don't believe there is a curve for the exams. Lavelle has not mentioned anything about one.

Unfortunately I do not believe the midterm is curved. Hopefully you did well without the curve!

I think I heard somewhere that Lavelle once curved a final because it was particularly difficult, so it could happen to this midterm if the average is especially low.

Lavelle hasn't mentioned anything about a curve so I don't think so.

Unfortunately from what I have heard there is no curve at all
