Scientific Notation

Hi, not sure if I'm posting in the right forum or not, but in the test, is it necessary for us to convert our answer into scientific notation?

No I don't think its necessary as long as you have the correct number of significant figures in your answers

If we are converting a number like 0.0380 to scientific notation, we do need to include the last zero in the sense that we'd have to write it as 3.80 x 10^2 right?

I did similar examples in class.
