E 21 Sixth Edition

Postby Dustin Shin 2I » Fri Oct 12, 2018 8:52 pm

I understand portion a of 21 but I don't understand what specifically they are asking for part d. When they ask for N2 molecules, would you just divide by 2 of what you got for N atoms? Can someone explain or am I just overthinking this?

To find the N2 molecules, you divide the mass of N in the sample by the molar mass of N2 (28.02 g/mol) to find the moles of N2, then you multiply that by Avogadro's number.
