Naming Formulas

Hi, does anyone know if he expects us to know how to write formulas/compounds on the test? Was just wondering because some of the homework problems asked us to do so.

I'm pretty sure in a lecture he touched on the fact that we don't know enough yet to write out the formulas for the chemical equations ourselves so he would give us the individual compounds next to their name and then you put it together.

I think he said anything that's a constant or a formula will be given for the test.

As far as I know, we will be receiving the formulas for tests throughout 14A but I've read replies on here from other students emphasizing that it's good to gain familiarity with more "common" formulas like sodium carbonate, glucose, etc.. as you prepare for 14B
