Atoms to Moles

Is it correct to divide the amount of atoms in a sample by the molar constant to find the amount of moles?

Yes, to find the number of moles, you would divide the amount of atoms by Avogadro's constant.

The way I convert from moles to atoms is I take avogadro's number and I multiply by the molar amount given/ found, since avogadro's number is equal to one mole. Thus, to convert from atoms to moles you would do the opposite, which is to divide.

You would divide it by Avogadro's constant.

Yes. Since Avogadro's number is in particles/mol, dividing the number of atoms by Avogadro's number will give you the number of mols.

To go from Atoms to moles you take the number of atoms and divide it by avogadros number over 1 mol then you can convert it to what every molecule you need.
