Stefan-Boltzmann law units

Postby Kristina Nguyen 1C » Thu Oct 12, 2017 8:36 pm

In the Stefan-Botlzmann law, where Total intensity=a constant x T^4, why is the Kelvin in the constant (5.67x10^-8 Wm^-2K^-4) denoted as K^-4?

That's because the units have to cancel out so that both sides of the equation have the same units (W/m^2).
