Problem 1.15 6th ed.

Question : In the ultraviolet spectrum of atomic hydrogen, a line is observed at 102.6 nm. Determine the values of n for the initial and final energy levels of the electron during the emission of energy that leads to this spectral line.

I am unsure how to begin this question. I tried to use the Rydberg Formula for Hydrogen but still unsure how to get the answer.

So first things first you're going to want to convert to frequency using the c=wavelength*frequency equation.
Then we will put these values in the Rydberg equation and for "n" you would use 1!
