Test question

Postby Blake Salfer 1B » Sun Oct 21, 2018 5:48 pm

Does anybody know if we will have to write out ground states of electrons even though we never covered this in lecture?

I don't think we need to know anything that wasn't covered in lecture.

My TA said that the test would be on:
photoelectric effect
De broil wavelength
Heisenburg Uncertainty
Atomic Spectrum
Quantum Numbers

As it wasn't covered in lecture, I don't believe so.

Does anyone know what information will be given to us...in terms of formulas and what not. Do we need to know the mass of an electron?

Hi, everything that is given to us is in the "constants and equations" file on the 14a website! Mass of an electron is included in the list of things given to us, I think most of the equations and conversions we would need are included.
